Students who complete the Junior Professional Associate (JPA) program will gain professional experience at the entry-level, as well as experience the challenges and rewards of international development. Are you a recent college grad or a recent college grad? Helping others is something you’re passionate about. Two years of solid entry-level work experience in a multicultural environment is what you’re looking for. Are you interested in the JPA program of the World Bank?
Working with more senior colleagues and project teams, you’ll apply your strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, your knowledge of technology, and your research abilities in your JPA assignment. In addition to learning new skills, you’ll gain first-hand experience with the challenges of poverty reduction and shared prosperity. You can use your experience as a JPA to advance your career in government, consulting, the private sector, or academia.

How to apply?
Online applications are available for interested candidates. Indicated fields must be filled out. You can access your application for six months from the date it is submitted. After six months, if you are still interested in the JPA program, you will need to reapply. If you are selected for an assignment, you will be contacted to discuss your availability and your interest. The hiring manager selects candidates in a highly competitive environment.
